Spring is a time to renew and refresh. Often times seniors’ homes are full of items waiting to be repurposed, recycled, donated or tossed out. Spring cleaning is a great time to begin this process. However, downsizing your home can be an overwhelming and emotional process.

Chicago was named the 87th best place to retire in the U.S., according to the 2021-2022 Best Places to Retire rankings by the U.S. News and World Report.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, an estimated 6.5 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s dementia in 2022. Seventy-three percent are age 75 or older.
