With today being National Tell a Story Day, we wanted to use this day as a reminder to preserve the stories from the seniors in your life.

Our retirement home has a new name! Join us on one of four dates in April for an Open House to see our retirement community for yourself. Refreshments will be served and tours will be available.

Winter can bring a lot of joy to our lives, but once the holidays are over, many of us find that the cold and the earlier darkness can lead to a lot of loneliness in our lives, especially for older adults. The weather can also create hazardous conditions for seniors. Between the weather and this element of loneliness, we find many seniors tend to stay indoors the majority of the season.

On October 1, 2019, Thorek Memorial Hospital in Chicago acquired Methodist Hospital of Chicago and Bethany Retirement Community, now Thorek Retirement Home. The sister facilities seek to serve their patients, residents, physicians, staff, employees and community by providing quality services and encouraging employee excellence.
